Job summary

Strata Consulting in the UK seeks a Transport Planner to join a busy team handling residential, logistics, retail, leisure and education projects. You will prepare Transport Notes, Travel Plans and assessments, model junction capacity (ARCADY/PICADY), and assist with highway design using AutoCAD.

Role involves generating graphics with GIS or Corel Draw, and applying policy guidance with accuracy and initiative to meet project targets.

Qualifications

• Formal education in either Transport Engineering, Geography or Transport Planning.
• Experience in development-focused transport planning projects.
• Membership of CIHT or ICE (or pursuing).
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Transport Notes, Statements and Assessments, Travel Plans, Site Access Appraisals using Word and Excel.
• Apply knowledge of local and national policy and guidance.
• Model junction capacity using ARCADY/PICADY.
• Design traffic solutions using LinSig and AutoCAD.
• Perform Swept Path Analysis with AutoTrack.
• Create high-quality graphics with GIS and Corel Draw.
• Contribute to achieving business targets.

What you need to succeed:
