Key Responsibilities
Transport Planning
  • Coordinate and schedule daily collections and deliveries across a fleet of four specialist trucks, ensuring efficient routing and minimal client wait times.
  • Communicate with collection and delivery points via phone and email to confirm schedules and manage expectations.
  • Serve as the central link between client-facing coordinators and technician‑drivers, ensuring clear, timely information flow.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Storage & Technicians to prioritise requests, manage last‑minute changes, and respond to urgent transport needs.
  • Allocate shipments to trusted third‑party carriers where required, monitoring their progress to maintain service standards.
  • Track all ongoing routes, anticipate potential delays, resolve issues, and proactively update internal teams and clients.
  • Manage any transport‑related incidents by guiding drivers appropriately and ensuring accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders.
Administration & Reporting
  • Prepare all required truck documentation, including Collection Notes and Delivery Notes.
  • Maintain accurate, real‑time updates in Salesforce for all scheduled and completed movements.
  • Report on key KPIs such as collection lead times and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee transport budgets, ensuring optimal truck utilisation and cost‑effective use of third‑party services.
