Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a full-time Transport Co-ordinator for our Wellington-based team. You will manage daily vehicle movements, schedule drivers, monitor compliance, and track deliveries using GPS/telematics.

The role requires 2+ years in transport/warehouse administration, proficiency in Excel and a Transport Management System, and familiarity with road transport legislation. You will brief drivers, log licences and vehicle defects, and communicate delays to clients.

Qualifications

• 2 years+ transport/warehouse administration experience.
• Proficient in Excel and TMS.
• Familiar with road transport legislation and driver hours rules.
• Confident in dealing with drivers and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily vehicle movements and schedule driver routes.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and track active deliveries.
• Brief departing drivers and log licenses and vehicle maintenance or defects.
• Update clients on delays and resolve transport delays.
• Track live shipments via GPS/telematics and monitor driver hours.
