Job description

Highly successful, niche business is currently seeking a Transport and Route Planning Operations Manager. Great opportunity to join a very well established and continually expanding business within a fantastic industry.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and improving overall operational performance of the site, with a focus on Route efficiency and planning (multi drop routes).
  • Direct line management of route officers to ensure routes are planned and sequenced in advance, and working with the Depot Manager.
  • Looking at transport route efficiency, ensuring collections are made from all the customers.
  • Manning the vehicles and planning around holidays with agency staff as required.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience in site operations management and route planning. With excellent communication, inter‑personal analytical and Microsoft skills, the successful candidate will be able to work in a team, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and have a flexible approach. A full driving licence and flexibility to travel for meetings/training/site visits is essential.

Benefits

In return you can expect a salary of around £37-40,000 per annum plus benefits working Monday to Friday days.
