Job Description
Purpose

To ensure the smooth-running of the plant and transport department, ensuring that health & safety and environmental concerns are prioritised in accordance with company policy.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and scheduling MOT, 6-weekly inspections and servicing for all vehicles.
  • Maintaining and updating the internal database, MID database and the insurance broker.
  • Updating and maintaining the vehicle allocation sheet, mileage, files for driver hours log books and driver defect books.
  • Coordinating and prioritising repairs with fitters.
  • Ensuring all certifications are in date, and that all plant is issued to site with relevant paperwork / certificates.
  • Liaising with external suppliers.
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required
