Transport Manager Job Overview

• Cost‑effective management of the transport operation, including the scheduling of vehicles and drivers to maintain the required level of customer service.
• Monitor the transport operation and make recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing transportation, including vehicle maintenance, driver training, and safety requirements.
• Manage and train a team of drivers and other transport staff, including performance management and career development.
• Support the GM in developing and implementing transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance, consistency, and quality of service.
• Act as the nominated competent person for the operator's licence.
