We're looking for an experienced Transport Manager to take ownership of transport operations at a busy, multi‑site logistics company based in Essex. Managing a fleet of 20‑40 vehicles, you'll oversee multi‑drop, groupage, and general haulage operations, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, efficiency, and service delivery. You'll lead, coach, and develop a skilled team of Transport Planners and drivers – bringing out the best in your people and driving continuous improvement across the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily transport operations across multiple UK sites.
• Lead and develop a team of Transport Planners and operational staff.
• Ensure full compliance with transport legislation and Operator Licence requirements.
• Oversee planning, routing, and vehicle utilisation for multi‑drop and groupage services.
• Deliver operational excellence, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• Foster a motivated, high‑performing team culture.

About You
