Transport Manager
£50,000 - £55,000 + Car / Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

Are you an experienced Transport Manager with a passion for compliance, efficiency, and leading high-performing teams?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business in Belfast, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of a large transport operation. You'll oversee a diverse team including Drivers, Supervisors, Weighbridge Operators and Office Staff, ensuring compliance with legislation, maximising efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.

The Role

• Lead and manage transport operations across multiple sites
• Ensure full compliance with O-Licence and transport legislation
• Oversee route planning, vehicle scheduling, and daily transport activities
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and non-conformances, taking corrective action where required
• Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor performance against KPIs
• Conduct driver checks, audits, and toolbox talks
• Identify training needs and support ongoing driver and staff development
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver service excellence and meet SLAs

About You

• TM CPC (International) qualification is essential
• Strong working knowledge of Drivers' Hours, WTD, and transport compliance
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Confident managing budgets, people, and performance metrics
• IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office and transport compliance systems
• Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility to visit regional depots when required
