We're now looking for a Transport First Line Manager to take the helm of our daily transport operations!

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Absence management. Includes return to work completion on day of return, Bradford Points recording in Cleric and administration of the absence policy including formal actions within 36 hours.
  • Holidays management: Approve/rejection of holiday requests within 24 hours. Record and control holiday request in Cleric
  • To ensure through the team that all aspects of the business operate within defined corporate and legislative requirements and implemented are maintained
  • To lead and motivate the drivers to achieve their fullest potential, driver performance management
  • To achieve high standards across the defined accountabilities of the Transport Operation.
  • Ensure the highest standards and timely reporting of H&S related matters
  • Pre & post shift briefings
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Excellent people skills - previously managed a team
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Good understanding or ability to learn new functions, Can do attitude
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages i.e. Word, Excel etc.
  • Working within NHS environment desirable
  • Transport Experience
