Pay Rate: £34, 855.59 Grade: RCS N Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7, predominantly Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 6pm Location: Faverdale - DL3 0UR Think you know DHL? What You’ll Do
  • Supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence.
  • Ensure drivers are legal and compliant on a daily and weekly basis and ensure clear communication between all functions within the transport department and the warehouse team.
  • Manage the front desk, liaising with drivers and customers to deal with any queries, completing defect reports and arranging servicing of fleet.
  • Lead the work activities of the drivers and the transport clerical team, providing effective leadership, communication, motivation, training and development.
What You’ll Bring
  • Must have people management experience in a transport/logistics environment.
  • Great communicator with the ability to build a strong rapport with drivers and customers.
  • Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office. Experience of Tachomaster and Microlise is desirable, but not essential as training can be provided.
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports.
  • Good working knowledge of the Working Time Directive and driver’s hours.
