The Role

• Member of WSM Management Team Setting and achievement of overall business objectives
• Responsible for the efficient performance of the Despatch department
• Daily management of the departmental Team Leaders
• Manage selected projects towards a successful conclusion
• Ensure the company standards and disciplines are followed
• Manage selected despatch and transport improvement projects towards successful conclusions
• Support customer and supplier visits when required
• Maintain housekeeping standards of the highest level
• Maintain departmental relations and efficient supplier relationships
• Minimize waste to within the department, zero loss concept
• Facilitate communication and share best practice across the main site and Moor Park
• Contribute ideas/vision/strategy to enhance the efficiency of the business
