Salary £28184 - £30000 dependent on experience plus 20% shift allowance

10 hours per day 7/8am – 6/7pm Shift-based 4 on 4 off. 13 Float Days

As part of our team what will you do?

As part of the transport team you will be responsible for the operational coordination of your carriers, ensuring that our customer work is booked up efficiently and effectively. Working with your carrier ensuring operational processes are adhered to, supporting both cost and service metrics.

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the coordination of your carriers ensuring their adherence to agreed service levels and operational metrics.
  • You will be accountable for operational KBIs, balancing cost with the delivery of service excellence to customers.
  • Looking for, and finding opportunities to remove complexity and reduce cost without jeopardizing service levels.
  • You will engage with a wide range of colleagues across internal and external Supply Chain to ensure all objectives are achieved, embracing and driving team working and flexibility to support the achievement of the team and business unit.
  • The delivery of key projects and Customer Logistics programmes, sharing and replicating best practice with colleagues to improve processes and work through issues to resolution.
