Tank Freight Transport Planner - Day Shift

£32-£34K + £5K additional weekend overtime payment

Do you have 2-3 years' experience planning transport across NI, UK and ROI?

Are you highly organised, thrive under pressure, and enjoy keeping operations moving smoothly?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Tank Freight Transport Planner to join a well-established logistics team in Mallusk. This role offers stability, progression, and great benefits within a respected name in bulk liquid transport.

The Role:

• Plan and allocate tankers, trailers, and drivers across NI, UK & ROI to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor live operations and update ETAs to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and workshops to resolve any issues quickly.
• Prepare and manage all transport documentation, including manifests, delivery notes, and compliance records.
• Ensure ADR and safety standards are followed throughout every stage of the operation.
• Liaise with maintenance providers for washouts and scheduled servicing.
• Maintain accurate system data and support continuous improvement in cost, efficiency, and service.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm

Weekends : 1 in 4 Saturdays & Sundays (additional payment @£5K per year)

The Ideal Person Will:

• Have 2-3 years' experience in transport planning (tank/bulk or ADR preferred).
• Possess strong knowledge of NI, UK, and ROI routing and regulations.
• Be confident using transport management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Stay calm under pressure and be highly organised with great attention to detail.
• Have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Understand driver hours/WTD and ADR compliance (training can be provided).
