As a Transport Coordinator you'll play a key role at the centre of our operation, where every action you take contributes to our customers enjoying their favourite M&S food.
Our operation in Crewe is looking for candidates who can commit to a 4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off - (Sunday to Wednesday, Sunday to Tuesday) or 4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off - (Wednesday to Saturday, Thursday to Saturday) - 12 hour shifts (38.5hrs).
As part of your role you will brief and debrief Drivers, being the first point of contact for all drivers and ensuring all queries are fed back to. Be accountable for Legal licence compliance and for Operational excellence ie cost and service including Peak planning/delivery. Provide the highest level of customer care and finding resolutions/ escalation of live issues. The monitoring of all routes ensuring all routes are running on time and escalating to the Team Manager on shift where appropriate. Effective time management to ensure the job is completed within the set time frame provided using Kronos exceptions & Schedules. Conduct Daily administration tasks in relation to payroll systems, payroll queries holidays etc.
Ideally, you will have experience of administration in a busy transport environment, be PC literate with word and excel experience and have great attention to detail.
