The Role

Working closely with the Transport Manager and Site Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly:

  • Inspecting and recording the condition of a fleet of 38 trucks (including photographing and reporting any damage)
  • Supporting managers with timesheets, expenses, tachograph reports, and holiday tracking
  • Communicating daily with drivers, workshop teams, and operations staff
  • Overseeing customs documentation, trailer reports, and proof of deliveries
  • Assisting with driver recruitment and onboarding
  • Helping manage freight in and out of the warehouse
  • Deputising for managers when needed

This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You’ll need to be highly organised and ready to get involved in a wide range of operational tasks.
