Responsibilities

  • Manage customer proof of deliveries for scanning and actioning.
  • Conduct daily brief and de-brief of drivers.
  • Ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety policies.
  • Support all aspects of the Transport Operation.
  • Monitor drivers' schedules using Microlise.

Skills

Experience working within a transport operation

Pay Rate: £27,371.81 + Night Shift allowance 20% for hours worked between 10pm - 6am
Grade: P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off Shift rotation 18:00 - 06:00
Location: Allington - ME16 0LE

DHL, an award‑winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Clerk to play a vital role ensuring smooth‐running of all transport scheduled activities.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

  • Manage customer proof of deliveries for scanning/uploading and action missing proof of deliveries and returns
  • Daily brief and de‑brief of drivers
  • Ensure compliance with all Company Health & Safety policies and highlight any concerns/issues to senior management in a timely manner
  • To support all aspects of the Transport Operation
  • Monitor drivers schedules whilst on route whilst using Microlise and follow appropriate escalation procedures where required
