A leading retail company in the United Kingdom is looking for a Transport Operations Clerk to oversee the transport department's administration. This role requires flexibility and involves supporting HGV drivers with paperwork and route departures. Ideal candidates will have experience in transport roles, but transferable skills may be considered. This is a maternity cover position lasting 9-12 months.

Transport Operations Clerks are responsible for the administration of the Transport department including the operational activity and support of the warehouse administration as required. Your duties will vary depending on what's required on the day so being flexible is an important skill to have.
This is a maternity Role covering 9-12 months
Whether it's giving drivers their paperwork, supporting with route departures, gathering Tachograph reports, debriefing drivers or generally being supportive with any challenges that arise, you'll be an essential part of the Transport Operations Team.
Experience with HGV drivers or within a similar transport role would be ideal however, we will consider transferable skills.
