Job Responsibilities
To ensure compliance across the entirety of the business, overseeing the Transport and Planning teams to achieve all customer/logistical targets, in the most efficient manner. Responsibility for overseeing and signing off all driver’s daily work, as well as taco analysis, driver hour compliance, training compliance, work allocation and shift allocation and management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage asset acquisitions across all vehicles in the fleet, HGVs, Trailers, Vans, FLTs
- Replacement plans and strategies in accordance to quarterly and annual budgets
- Manage motor fleet compliance - all legal requirements, training, Insurances, servicing
- Manage fleet allocation and requirements across all company vehicles
- Manage and implement all driver polices and procedures
- Oversee and manage all HGV drivers’ daily duties
- Schedule and deliver regular on farm procedural audits across all driver base
- Compile, analyse and deliver monthly Transport KPI’s to the board
- Collaborate with Workshop Manager to ensure FLT service scheduling targets are achieved
- Schedule, Chair, and minute monthly drivers’ meetings/ forums - to be delivered to the board
- Oversee the management of third-party driver and vehicle systems
- Keep up to date with current Transport/Logistical legislation, attending relevant conferences
- Sign-off all fuel orders and oversee delivery
- Daily supervision of Planning Team - offering support and guidance when needed
- Collaborate with the Workshop Manager to implement and manage asset acquisition and life cycle of HGV/machine plant and all company vehicles.

- Ensure conformity with the company’s Transport related Health and Safety, biosecurity, and welfare procedures
