Overview

This Transport Administrator role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. You'll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day coordination of our transport activities, ensuring drivers, vehicles, and deliveries are managed efficiently and in line with company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate transport records, schedules, and documentation
  • Support route planning and driver allocation
  • Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve queries
  • Monitor delivery progress and update systems accordingly
  • Process PODs, delivery notes, and compliance paperwork
  • Assist with vehicle checks, maintenance scheduling, and compliance tracking
  • Ensure all transport activities meet legal and safety requirements
  • Provide general administrative support to the transport office
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in transport, logistics, or a similar administrative role would be advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail is essential
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build good working relationships
  • Comfortable working with transport management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • A team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
