Transport Administrator

Location: Canterbury, Kent

Salary: £12.21ph

Term: Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday to Friday (5am - 2pm)

Start: Immediately

This is a temporary role starting immediately; however this could become a permanent position for the right candidate. The team look for confident communicators with a strong transport experience.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Transport Manager in the day-to-day coordination of the company's delivery operations.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling vehicle routes to ensure efficient and timely deliveries of products.
  • Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure delivery instructions are clear and completed accurately.
  • Prepare and issue delivery documentation, including route sheets and proof of delivery notes.
  • Monitor vehicle movements and communicate any delays or changes to relevant departments or customers.
  • Ensure driver compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Assist with the maintenance of transport records, driver files, and vehicle service schedules.
  • Handle transport-related queries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
