On a major defence contract we have a position within our soft FM services, for a Transport & Travel Supervisor to supervise the Motor Transport and Travel department. Motivating staff to agreed SLA’s for all departments are exceeded, enabling the delivery of a first- class customer experience.

What you’ll do :
  • Responsible for the delivery and compliance of department services in accordance with both MoD and or civilian regulations, ensuring these services meet Northwood SLAs and expectations of the client
  • Ensure MOD road transport is operated in accordance with Joint Service Publications (JSP’s) promoting compliance with legislation and regulations
  • Develop and maintain efficient office processes for data processing, storage and retrieval
  • Identify training needs and manage a programme of training to ensure the team are fully conversant of department procedures and processes
What you’ll bring to the role :
  • Logistics Experience in a similar FM Service environment
  • Knowledge of Transport / Travel booking processes and client requirements
  • Demonstrate proficiency and competence in the use of bespoke Management Information and IT systems within an MoD environment
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft office to an intermediate level
  • Stakeholder Management up to Executive Level
  • Ability to pass security clearance. In order to pass, the successful candidate will have been continually resident in the UK for the past 5 years

This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and / or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role
