The Drummond Learning Community is seeking a Transition Teacher to work across Abbeyhill Primary School, Broughton Primary School, Leith Walk Primary School and Drummond Community High School. This fixed-term post runs until 29 June 2027 and offers 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

The role supports learning in Literacy, Numeracy and Health and Wellbeing, with a focus on pupils from P7 to S1 and extending to P5–S3.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current pedagogy and effective teaching practices.
• Ability to support Literacy, Numeracy and Health & Wellbeing across a transition context.

Responsabilités

• Teach across Abbeyhill Primary, Broughton Primary, Leith Walk Primary and Drummond Community High School.
• Support learning in Literacy, Numeracy and Health and Wellbeing and manage transitions between education establishments.
