Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker (School) in Dewsbury to support students with SEMH in a specialist provision. The role is temporary on a daily supply basis, with a typical day 8:30 to 16:00 and a daily rate of £90–£110 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will bring resilience, rapport-building skills, and ideally Team Teach training. Vision can offer free training and ongoing support through the Specialist SEND team.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND/ SEMH within the last 3 years.
• Able to gain professional, performance-based references.
• Ideally trained in Team Teach.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEMH in a specialist school setting.
• Work Monday to Friday 8:30–16:00 in a temporary supply role.
• Complete essential training before starting and join the supply register.
