• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing change in fast-paced clinical settings.

• Experience in performance and financial management and delivering against demanding operational targets.
• Collaborative approach and commitment to partnering with clinical colleagues for outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational performance of the Acute Medicine Business Unit, delivering key quality, activity and financial objectives.
• Drive improvements in urgent and emergency care pathways to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
• Provide strong, visible leadership to multidisciplinary teams and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Develop and deliver strategic service plans responding to evolving patient needs and communities.
• Work with clinical leaders to implement service improvements, redesign pathways and deliver transformational change.
• Ensure robust performance management and governance arrangements to support sustainable delivery.
• Build relationships across the Trust and wider health system for integrated urgent and acute care.
