DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Transformation Portfolio Lead to own integrated planning, governance and delivery control across four roadmaps. You will align plans, resources and finances while connecting multiple workstreams to a single, coherent portfolio view.

In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate with Transformation, Strategy, Architecture, Change and Finance teams to resolve delivery challenges and provide confidence in plans and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within complex transformation, programme or portfolio delivery environments.
• Experience within the London Market or banking/financial services environment would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent integrated planning and dependency-management capability.
• Experience bringing multiple project, programme or workstream plans together into a coherent integrated portfolio plan.
• Strong knowledge of milestone management, baselines, risks, issues, dependencies and change control.

Responsabilités

• Identify dependencies across roadmaps and take action to protect delivery.

• Govern and report on portfolio performance with verified data and metrics.
• Coordinate matrix teams and ensure resources and capacity align with planned activity.
• Oversee portfolio finances with Finance to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Control delivery baselines and governance across planning, reporting and change control.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Transformation Portfolio Lead to take ownership of integrated planning, governance and delivery control across four key transformation roadmaps.

This is a pivotal role within a complex transformation environment, bringing together multiple projects, workstreams and stakeholders to create one clear, integrated view of delivery.

You’ll ensure that plans, milestones, dependencies, resources and finances remain aligned and under control, providing the oversight, structure and governance needed to keep the portfolio moving forward against agreed priorities, outcomes and budgets.

Working closely with Transformation, Strategy, Architecture, Change and Finance teams, alongside Velonetic and the ISB, you’ll connect activity across the portfolio, identify and resolve delivery challenges and ensure stakeholders have confidence in the quality and accuracy of plans and reporting.

It’s a role for someone who can see the bigger picture while remaining close enough to delivery to understand what needs attention, bringing clarity, discipline and momentum to a complex transformation portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As Transformation Portfolio Lead, you’ll own the integrated delivery picture across all four roadmaps, ensuring individual plans come together into a coherent and achievable portfolio plan.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Own and maintain the integrated delivery plan across all four transformation roadmaps, bringing together individual project and work-package plans into a single, coordinated view.
• Work closely with Project Managers and work-package leads to ensure milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and delivery commitments are understood and actively managed.
• Identify dependencies across the four roadmaps, ensuring potential impacts are recognised early and appropriate action is taken to protect delivery.
• Maintain clear visibility of progress against agreed milestones and outcomes, identifying emerging challenges and areas requiring intervention.
• Manage issues, problems and escalations within delegated authority, driving timely resolution and escalating appropriately where required.
• Lead effective governance across the portfolio, ensuring forums are focused on decision‑making, resolving exceptions and maintaining momentum.
• Coordinate resources across the four roadmaps, ensuring the right capability and capacity are aligned to planned activity.
• Maintain oversight and control of portfolio finances, working closely with Finance to ensure agreed activity has appropriate financial coverage.
• Manage and coordinate a matrix team of Project Managers and work-package leads, creating alignment around priorities, milestones and outcomes.
• Control delivery baselines and ensure Run changes are managed through the appropriate change‑control process.
• Track SLA performance with Velonetic and the ISB, ensuring commitments, performance, exceptions and escalations are actively managed.
• Ensure portfolio reporting is based on verified data and agreed metrics, providing an accurate and evidence‑based view of delivery.
• Govern and quality‑check reporting before it is presented to Velonetic or the ISB.
• Drive consistency across planning, governance, reporting and delivery controls.
• Build effective relationships across the portfolio, bringing teams together around shared milestones, priorities and outcomes.

You’ll ensure:

• All four roadmaps are supported by milestone‑based integrated plans, with dependencies clearly identified and tracked.
• Delivery can be measured against agreed plans, milestones and outcomes.
• Cross‑roadmap dependencies and potential impacts are identified early and actively managed.
• Issues and escalations are handled quickly and effectively.
• Governance enables timely decisions and resolution of exceptions.
• Velonetic and ISB SLAs are actively managed and appropriately reported.
• Reporting is accurate, evidence‑based and supported by verified data.
• Resources and capability are coordinated effectively across the portfolio.
• Appropriate financial coverage is in place for agreed activity.
• Changes to delivery baselines are assessed, controlled and governed.
• Stakeholders have confidence in the quality of portfolio planning, governance and reporting.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced portfolio or transformation delivery professional who can bring structure, control and clarity to a complex environment with multiple priorities and interdependencies.

You’ll be comfortable moving between the detail of integrated plans, milestones and dependencies and the broader portfolio picture across resources, finances, governance and outcomes.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Strong experience within complex transformation, programme or portfolio delivery environments.
• Experience within the London Market or banking/financial services environment would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent integrated planning and dependency-management capability.
• Experience bringing multiple project, programme or workstream plans together into a coherent integrated portfolio plan.
• Strong knowledge of milestone management, baselines, risks, issues, dependencies and change control.
• Experience coordinating resources and capacity across multiple programmes or workstreams.
• Experience overseeing programme or portfolio finances.
• Strong programme and portfolio governance experience.
• Experience managing complex delivery issues, problems and escalations.
• Strong evidence‑based reporting skills and the confidence to constructively challenge information.
• Experience managing SLAs and customer/supplier relationships.
• Experience coordinating matrix teams of Project Managers, work-package leads and other delivery professionals.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer relationship skills.
• Clear and credible communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving capability with the ability to balance competing priorities.
• A collaborative and pragmatic approach combined with the confidence to challenge when delivery moves away from agreed plans.
