Transfer Station Operative

Salary: £30,000.00 per annum plus Veolia benefits and pension

Hours: 48 hours per week, Rotating Rota - Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday

Location: Dogsthorpe, Peterborough, PE1 3TD

What you\'ll be doing;

• Responsible for the sorting of commercial waste deposited at the transfer station.
• Ensure the site is kept clean and tidy.
• Comply with the conditions of the site waste management permit.
• Carry out additional duties which may be required, as directed by your line manager.

What we\'re looking for;

• Ability to effectively communicate within a team and with the general public.
• Work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and customer orientated.
• Experience within the recycling industry is desirable.
• Experience of driving machinery is desirable.
