Responsibilities
  • Manage, develop, and mentor the transactional finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth within the department.
  • Maintain accurate records, control reports, and clean audit trails to support robust year-end financial audits.
  • Oversee all purchase invoices, overheads invoices, and expenses postings to guarantee timely and precise processing across the business.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for transactional queries from both suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and swift resolution.
  • Develop and deliver monthly reporting on expense management, aged receivables, and overdue payables to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure finalisation of accounts payable and accounts receivable-related general ledger accounts in collaboration with the Financial Controller on a monthly basis.
  • Provide valuable input into monthly cash flow forecasting processes as required by senior management.
  • Prepare payment runs efficiently while supervising supplier statements, account customers, and bank reconciliations at month-end for accuracy.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for review with the Financial Controller each month to maintain financial integrity.
  • Assist in continuously improving the controls environment by identifying opportunities for process enhancement alongside the Financial Controller.
