Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a Controls Business Analyst for a fixed term 18-month contract to strengthen transaction reporting controls across global markets. You will identify risks, design practical controls, and lead requirements workshops with stakeholders across business, technology and compliance to address evolving regulatory requirements.

The role involves analyzing data, processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and to ensure controls remain effective as regulations

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis experience with ability to assess processes, identify risks, and develop practical controls.
• Experience organising and leading workshops with diverse stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across business, technology and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements workshops and remediation initiatives for transaction reporting controls.
• Assess reporting and operational risks; identify control gaps and design improved processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology and compliance to strengthen the controls environment.
