The Training Specialist provides an exceptional learning experience by facilitating blended learning for the AGI-DS organization. The role involves planning, scheduling, coordinating, and executing end-to-end training. The Training Specialist will work closely with the Training Manager to track and ensure completion of training tasks using the Learning Management System (LMS). They will also identify areas for improvement and drive innovation in training approaches.

Key job responsibilities

1. Facilitate classroom training following the approved curriculum.
2. Maintain theoretical proficiency in assigned trainings and stay current on tools, processes, procedures, and training techniques.
3. Manage the classroom to ensure an organized and productive learning environment.
4. Evaluate trainee performance daily to identify improvement opportunities.
5. Provide coaching and feedback to trainees and communicate trainee engagement and performance to the Training Manager.
6. Share observations with the Training Manager for corrective actions.
7. Manage LMS tasks such as enrolment, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
8. Publish training reports as per standard templates.
9. Collect and share feedback on training effectiveness through surveys and observations.
10. Communicate training progress and needs to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or significant coursework in communication, education, or related fields.
• Proficiency in English (B2+) and fluency in German (C1+).
• Experience and/or certification in learning/training.
• Experience in planning, creating, delivering, and assessing training programs.
• Strong communication skills for knowledge transfer and collaboration.
• Excellent organization, coordination, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with remote teams.
• Competent in Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of eLearning development tools such as Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, or Flash.
• Ability to employ multiple learning methods effectively.
• Experience working with globally-distributed management teams.
