A leading service provider in the utilities industry is seeking an experienced Training Manager to set the strategy for the Water Training Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water operations and training. Responsibilities include managing a team, ensuring compliance with training standards, and maintaining client relationships. This role offers opportunities for progression within a national contractor.
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Training Manager to strengthen their team.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a background in the water industry with occupational experience in water operations. You will be a good communicator and ideally have a background in training and assessing qualifications. You will be both professional and customer focused on your approach and proficient in maintaining and expanding current relationships. You will have experience in delivering learning to a diverse range of people including apprentices.
Responsible for setting the strategy for the Water Training Team in line with departmental objectives, developing and managing apprenticeship and training programmes that deliver high‑quality, compliant, technical hands‑on training. This includes managing a team of trainers, ensuring compliance with industry, government, awarding body, and Ofsted regulations, while undertaking the role of lead IQA where appropriate.
