Job summary

A leading support services provider in the UK is seeking a Training Area Operative to ensure a safe and efficient training environment for the Armed Forces. This role requires an enthusiastic individual who can work outdoors and is dedicated to supporting the military. Full training will be provided, and excellent benefits are included. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of landscape maintenance and a valid UK driving license.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Landscape Maintenance is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Basic IT skills necessary to use a tablet.
  • Ability to thrive in a diverse and fast-paced team environment.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety protocols needed.
  • A valid Manual UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Defence Training Estate is kept in top condition.
  • Carry out preventative, planned, and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Operation and maintenance of plant and equipment.
  • Manufacture and deploy targets as required.
  • Drive and operate fleet vehicles.
  • Use Warning systems including training control offices, flags and lights.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Complete documentation using IT and paper-based systems.

Job Introduction

LandmarcSupportServices are currently seeking to recruit a Training Area Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role you will play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our ArmedForcesto train.

We are looking for someoneenthusiasticabout working in an outdoor environment, dedicated tosupportingthe Military.Landmarc provide full training and continuous development opportunities, making this a fantastic opportunity to start a career on the Defence Training Estate.

Shifts run between:07:30 - 17:30 fromMonday to Friday.

Hours of work: 39 per week

Contract:Permanent

Location:Lulworth Ranges, Lulworth, Wareham, Dorset, BH20 5QF and the possibility of working at Bovington Training Area, Allenby Barracks, Bovington, BH20 6JA

Main Responsibilities
