Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Training & Development Coach within Engineering. This full-time position (37 hours/week) in Haslingden requires strong organizational skills and a valid UK driving license. The ideal candidate is qualified and experienced in engineering and will support apprentices in their development. Mileage is not compensated, to be included in the pay.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards, KSBs, and end-point assessment (EPA) requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage caseloads and compliance.
  • Full UK driving Licence and use of own vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct training sessions for engineering apprentices.
  • Provide support and guidance to trainees in their development.
  • Ensure compliance with training standards and assessments.

Training & Development Coach – Engineering

Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a Training & Development Coach within Engineering. This role is 37 hours a week to start ASAP until 27/03/2026.

The right candidate will be happy to travel to other sites using their own transport. Mileage is not paid as it is expected to be included in the hourly/day rate.

  • Engineering Technician (Mechatronics Maintenance Technician)
  • Engineering Fitter
  • Engineering Technician (Technical Support pathway)
Essential Criteria
  • Occupationally competent in Engineering (mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/fitter)
  • Qualified Assessor (A1, TAQA, or CAVA)
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards, KSBs, and end-point assessment (EPA) requirements
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage caseloads and maintain compliance (reviews, off-the-job tracking, and portfolio development)
  • Full UK driving Licence and use of own vehicle
