Job summary

A local government authority is seeking a Training Administrator to manage various administrative and clerical tasks for training activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with administrative queries, assisting with learning management systems, and representing the team at meetings. Candidates should have administrative experience and be qualified to QCF Level 2. This role offers a permanent contract with a standard work schedule of 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Educated to QCF Level 2 (3-5 passes) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven administrative experience in a busy office.
  • Ability to work effectively with both manual and computerized systems.

Location: Support Headquarters, Netley

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Job Purpose

You will deal with a range of administrative, clerical and financial tasks in support of designated training activities, consistent with Department and Force requirements. You will be a point of contact for the Training Team and deal with administrative queries. You will help with creation, monitoring and maintenance of learning/training management systems and action general queries from users. You will also represent the training team at meetings.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Educated to QCF Level 2 (3-5 passes) OR work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
  • Administrative experience in a busy office using a range of office systems.
  • Familiarity with manual and computerised systems.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Methodical, well organised and able to prioritise and manage own workload.
  • Computer literacy with good keyboard skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, unsupervised.
