Job summary

A commercial flight training academy is seeking an experienced Training Administrator to manage Student and Instructor records accurately. The role involves monitoring flight hours, assisting with licence applications, and supporting the management team. This full-time position requires on-site work Monday to Friday, with occasional business travel.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, driven administrator to join our growing team. As the Training Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring all records for Students and Instructors are kept up to date and assist in ensuring applications for licences are submitted accurately, along with any other related administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Keeping all Student and Instructor records up to date on our internal systems
  • Monitor student flight hours with syllabus hours and track additional training hours
  • Liaise with the Finance Department for invoicing
  • Support the management team with requests
  • Coordinate performance reviews
  • Attend and take minutes for the various programme meetings
  • Produce reports for use by other departments
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in data entry and database management
  • Previous experience in the aviation industry will be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to work well in a highly structured environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and be able to deal effectively with internal and external contacts
  • Hold a UK Driving Licence
Additional Information

Monday – Friday (40 hours) on‑site.

Occasional business travel may be required.
