Training Administration Manager – Aberdeen
We invite applications for the Training Administration Manager position, based at Aberdeen.
Reporting to – Head of Training
Location – Aberdeen, Dyce Avenue
Full Time – Monday to Friday
This is an exciting new role to manage the training administration needs across Government Services and Offshore Energy Services for Aircrew and Engineers. The role requires exemplary organisational skills and strict adherence to Bristow Core Values.
Key Tasks
- Lead and supervise the training administration team across Government Services and Offshore Energy Services AOC’s, ensuring effective scheduling, coordination and record keeping
- Harmonise Training Records across AOC’s together to avoid drifting apart and making things more complex
- Ensuring lessons learned across AOC’s are actioned for the efficiencies of all
- Reducing and simplifying the current plethora of different non-regulatory forms and records
- Developing joint forms across Government Services
- Liaison with third party providers (such as iSAR) to improve systems and make efficiencies
- Co-ordinate amendments to the operations manual part D for better oversight
- Harmonise provision of third-party training across AOC’s and ensure service level agreements are tenable, achievable and actionable
- Assist with oversight of simulator programming across AOC’s
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records in accordance with each Operations Manual, managing workflow across GS AOCs in liaison with each training administrator
- Monitor crew training currency and notify relevant personnel of upcoming due items
- Assist in the preparation of training manuals, course materials, and regulatory submissions in accordance with National Regulations (Air Operations and Aircrew regulation)
- Liaise with instructors, trainees, and external training providers to manage logistics
- Track attendance, performance, and completion status of training courses
- Support audits by preparing training documentation and evidence for compliance reviews
- Maintain a Learning Management System (LMS) for Engineering
- Provide administrative support for simulator bookings, travel arrangements, and facility usage
- Prepare regular reports on training status, gaps, and compliance metrics
- Coordinate with instructors, nominated persons, HR, and third-party providers to ensure smooth training operations
- Contribute to the development and improvement of training procedures, templates, and documentation standards
- Ensure data security, confidentiality, and quality control of training records and systems; and
- Train and develop administrative staff, promoting a culture of accuracy, efficiency & accountability.
- Liaise with the new Rescue Hoist Centre Manager regarding wet and dry lease customers, both internal and third party.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: (minimum education requirements, key skills, and experience)
Qualifications
- As appropriate to skills list
Experience
- Team leadership or supervisory experience
- Having worked as a minimum in Training Coordination or Administration (2-5 years)
- Aviation experience (desirable)
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (minimum MS Word, Excel);
- Experience with database management & reporting;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Budgeting and resource planning
- Understanding on compliance training
- Strong leadership attributes and experience of managing teams.
- Well-developed analytical skills that contribute effectively to issue prioritisation and problem solving.
