Job summary

Blue Triangle is seeking a vibrant Trainer to drive the learning and growth of our team on a full-time basis, based in Glasgow.

You will design and deliver sector-specific training for employees, stakeholders and external experts, identify opportunities for partnerships, and work with the Service Delivery team to ensure the workforce has essential skills for changing requirements.

Qualifications

  • Qualification in a social care subject (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Willingness to work towards a relevant training qualification.
  • Experience in the care or charity sector.
  • Ability to scope, develop and deliver training materials for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC).

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct sector-specific learning programs for employees, stakeholders and external experts.
  • Identify training opportunities and potential partnerships for external collaborations.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery to ensure staff possess essential skills and capabilities.
  • Interviews at Glasgow base with values-based panel by Training Department & Director of Operations.

About the Role:
  • We’re seeking a vibrant and compelling Trainer to drive the learning and growth of our team on a full time basis.
  • Committed to creating a lively and inclusive learning atmosphere, the Trainer will design and conduct sector specific learning programs for our employees, stakeholders, and external experts.
  • They will be proactive in identify training opportunities and potential partnerships and bodies to cultivate external collaborations.
  • Working in close partnership with our Service Delivery team, they will guarantee that the Blue Triangle workforce is equipped with the essential skills and capabilities to adapt to the organisation’s changing requirements.

Interviews are expected to take place from our Central Support base in Glasgow, consisting of a Values based interview with panel which shall consist of our Training Department & Director of Operations.

About You:
  • A qualification in a pertinent social care subject (at least SVQ Level 3).
  • Possession of, or a willingness to work towards, a relevant training qualification.
  • Previous experience in the care or charity sector.
  • Proficiency in scoping, developing, and delivering training materials to a diverse audience.
  • Familiarity with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC).
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on finding practical solutions.
