As the Trainer for Lagardère Travel Retail UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating engaging training programmes that drive operational excellence and people development across our business. From customer service and leadership development to retail knowledge and compliance, you'll help ensure our people are confident, capable, and aligned with our company values.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct training needs analysis and contribute to the annual training calendar.
  • Deliver training programmes from the company's global catalogue and adapt materials for UK & Ireland audiences.
  • Develop bespoke training content to meet local business needs, ensuring it aligns with company standards and values.
  • Deliver engaging in-person and virtual sessions across a range of topics including customer service, sales, systems, leadership, and compliance.
  • Coach employees and managers on the shop floor, supporting the continuous application of learning.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessment, and performance outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate training records, compile monthly reports, and communicate progress to management.
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Store Management to identify learning gaps and drive development initiatives.
  • Actively promote a learning culture that reflects Lagardère's values and commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in training delivery, ideally in retail, hospitality, or travel sectors.
  • Passion for people development and strong understanding of customer experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
