A growing engineering company in Nottingham is seeking a Trainee Ventilation Service Engineer to work on customer sites, providing maintenance and repair of ventilation systems. This role involves both electrical and mechanical tasks, enhancing your skills in a dynamic environment. Candidates should have knowledge of electrical control systems and preferably a CSCS Card.   • Knowledge and experience working with electrical control panels/systems with fault finding experience is essential.
  • Additional mechanical mindset to complement the electrical experience.
  • CSCS Card (an advantage).

Are you fed up being based in the workshop and want to go out on the road and are looking for some variety? I am working with a growing business who are looking for engineers who have an understanding of electrical fault finding and repair of control systems, replacing fans and motors etc on ventilation systems with a mechanical mindset, you will be visiting companies from all industries motorsport, aerospace etc as part of a tight knit team.

What you will be doing after you are fully trained:

  • Servicing, assessment, maintenance and repair of systems on customers sites
  • Electrical repair including motors, fans and control panels/systems
  • Promoting positive interactions with all internal and external stakeholders as a customer facing representative of the company
  • Maintaining the company vehicle is presentable, raising any defects or issues
  • Stock control of parts and consumables in the vehicle to a functioning level
  • Ensure there is full compliance with the company and clients Health, Safety & Environmental requirements at all times
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date and maintained

Skills Experience

  • Knowledge and experience working with Electrical control panels/systems with fault finding experience is essential
  • Additional mechanical mindset to compliment the electrical experience
  • CSCS Card (an advantage)
  • Able to communicate professionally to all level of stakeholder
  • Able to work autonomously and pro-actively
