Job summary

Purely Recruitment Solutions is recruiting a Trainee Vehicle Technician in Swindon. You’ll join a structured Technician Development Programme, working with experienced technicians to build hands-on workshop skills.

As you grow, you’ll progress into a permanent Technician role across one of the Group’s dealerships, with exposure to hybrid and electric vehicle technologies and ongoing manufacturer training. Salary depends on experience, with a full-time 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or due to complete this year).
• A genuine passion for the automotive industry.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• A willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
• Pride in producing high-quality work.
• A full UK driving licence (or working towards obtaining one).

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Technician Development Programme.
• Work alongside experienced technicians to gain hands-on workshop experience.

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Vehicle Technician to join our client in Swindon.

Through the Technician Development Programme, you'll work alongside experienced technicians, receive hands-on coaching and gain valuable workshop experience across the Group. As your skills and confidence grow, you'll progress into a permanent Technician role within one of the dealerships, representing some of the world's leading automotive brands.

You must have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or are due to complete it this year)
• A genuine passion for the automotive industry
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• A willingness to learn from experienced technicians
• Pride in producing high-quality work
• A full UK driving licence (or be working towards obtaining one)
