A leading NHS medical trust in Coventry is seeking a qualified practitioner to join their specialist team focused on vascular access device management. Your responsibilities will include inserting and managing devices for intravenous therapies, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to quality improvements in patient care. This role requires a strong nursing background and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
The Practitioner work as part of a specialist team, will be responsible for the clinical examination and assessment of patients in order to select and insert appropriate venous access devices for patients requiring intermediate and long term intravenous therapies throughout the UHCW trust. Such therapies will include intravenous nutrition, chemotherapy and long‑term antibiotics.
Banding will be based on experience in Vascular access.
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
