Job summary

ASI Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Valetor for classic cars in the United Kingdom. You will learn restoration from strip‑down through to refurbishment, reassembly and final build, working alongside experienced restoration specialists.

No prior restoration experience is required; a hands-on mechanical ability and a passion for vintage vehicles are highly valued. This role offers a pathway into a long-term restoration career within a friendly, established workshop.

We have a rare opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the classic and restoration sector.

We’re not looking for years of restoration experience or a list of qualifications. Instead, we’re looking for someone with solid mechanical experience, a practical approach and a genuine passion for classic vehicles and craftsmanship.

You’ll be working alongside experienced restoration specialists, learning every aspect of the process from careful strip‑down and assessment through to refurbishment, reassembly and final build. Every day is different, and every vehicle has its own story.

Experience with vehicle restoration, fabrication, detailing, painting, trim work or classic car projects would be an advantage, but attitude and enthusiasm are far more important.
