Job summary

The People Pod in Luton is seeking an Assistant Window Fitter to join a nationwide window & door repair and replacement business. You will remove old fittings, fit new ones, take measurements, and carry out bespoke changes while training rapidly for career progression.

Ideal candidates have some UPVC window/door experience, can work independently, and are Health & Safety conscious with a driving license. Attractive wages with company benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience fitting UPVC windows/doors or general building work.
• Trustworthy and able to work on own initiative.
• Health & Safety conscious; Driving license essential.

Responsibilities

• Remove old windows and doors using hand and power tools.
• Fit new windows and doors.
• Take measurements for new fittings and make bespoke changes.
• Fix windows, doors and other products.
• Clear away materials after the job is finished.
• Repair and replace products as requested by the customer.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
