Trainee Transport and Logistics Coordinator / Junior Courier Agent

SALARY: £20,000 to £25,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits

LOCATION: Feltham, Hounslow, West London (TW14)

JOB TYPE: Full‑Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm (initial training week 9am – 4:30pm)

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Trainee Transport and Logistics Coordinator / Junior Courier Agent you will gain hands‑on experience across imports, exports, and domestic transport coordination.

In this varied role as a Trainee Transport and Logistics Coordinator / Junior Courier Agent you will liaise with suppliers, customers, and carriers to arrange door‑to‑door shipments, assist with customs processes, and ensure deliveries run smoothly and on time.

DUTIES
  • Learning Logistics Operations: Gain practical experience in transport planning, imports, and exports from door to door
  • Supplier & Customer Liaison: Communicate with clients and logistics partners to coordinate shipments and resolve delivery queries
  • Customs Administration: Support the preparation of import and export customs clearances
  • Domestic Transport Coordination: Organise UK collections and deliveries to meet agreed schedules
  • Hazardous Cargo Handling: Assist with the documentation and safe transport of hazardous goods
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate shipment and delivery records using internal systems
  • Operational Support: Work closely with senior colleagues to support day‑to‑day logistics functions
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
