Trainee Traffic Signals Configuration Engineer - Hybrid - ad hoc visits to the Warwick office

We are looking for a Trainee Traffic Signals Configuration Engineer to join us here at Telent within our Traffic Division. You can work mainly from home but be happy to attend meetings within our Warwick office as and when required. You will be working in a part of Telent that is dedicated to maintaining UK wide Traffic Signals.

Key Deliverables (with Training and Mentoring)
  • Preparing configuration of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings
  • Working closely with customers, designers and project managers
  • Be able to utilise controller configuration and simulator software
  • Undertake/support FAT testing
  • Advice to design services on controller facilities
  • Support to commissioning/maintenance engineers

We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for technology and that is keen to learn and develop within the Traffic technology sector.

Qualifications and Attributes
  • Ideally a technology focused education background – A-levels or Degree
  • A can-do attitude and keen to learn new things
  • Good communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Good MS Office skills
