Trainee Technology Service Desk Analyst

Description

Are you passionate about technology? Do you want to work in a locally based established technology team? We have an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Trainee Technology Service Desk Analyst! You will be responsible for areas such as Technology system operations processing, data securities, delivery of excellent customer service, first and second line user support and maintaining all corporate Technology hardware and software applications.

You will work within a constantly evolving dynamic systems and services environment, working in line with our corporate visions and values.

We are looking for someone who ideally has experience working in an IT environment. You will have an understanding of Microsoft Windows, with a good knowledge of O365 products. As part of the service desk team you will need to work flexibly in a 3-shift system and be part of the team providing an on-call service to the business out of hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installing and configure Technology business systems hardware and software, undertaking new user set-ups, moves and authorised system changes
  • Undertake corporate systems processing including data and systems securities
  • Provide Tier 1 Support to all system users across all company sites
  • Raising when required all Technology system and service issues to Tier 2 support or external service providers in accordance to established service level agreements
  • Complete daily Operations system checks and tasks, undertaking diagnostics and fault resolution
  • Record and report all system issues using our internal ITSM tool
  • Test and deploy new hardware and software - PC configurations and installs
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications and server products & Office 365
  • Capable of working well both individually and as a team member
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Logical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle your own workload and able to work within tight system processing timelines
  • Highly motivated and flexible approach to working
  • Superb communication and social abilities
  • A customer first approach
  • Understanding of Technology support and maintenance
  • A full driving licence is crucial as we support several sites
