National Windscreens Beckton - New Branch is hiring a Trainee Technician to join the UK’s largest independent automotive glass repair and replacement specialist. You will enter a structured Trainee Program with high-quality training, learn NVQ levels 2/3, and after 10 weeks become able to work independently.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, energetic and eager to learn. A driving licence is essential as you will travel to customer locations and operate in a branch-based and mobile environment;

Responsabilités

• Complete Trainee Program with NVQ Level 2/3 in Automotive Glazing.
• After training, repair and replace windscreens and body glass, delivering excellent customer service.
• Travel to customer locations as required due to branch-based and mobile work setup.
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues and customers.
• Receive training on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration and on hybrid/electric vehicles.

What you'll be doing...

You will be a part of our Trainee Program which means:

• You will receive high standard quality training delivered by experienced and qualified trainers and technicians.
• We will work with you to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in Automotive Glazing to NVQ level 2 and 3.
• After 10 weeks of training including classroom based learning and real experience with other qualified Technicians, you will be able to work independently.
• You will receive on-going support and assistance ensuring you remain up to date with techniques and processes.
• If selected you will also receive training on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration, hybrid and electric vehicles.
• You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and your customers.

Once trained your job will be to repair and replace windscreens and body glass, and to provide our customers with excellent service.
