Title Trainee Technician
Division London Market Fleet
Reports to Manager, London Market Fleet
Job Purpose

To undertake all aspects of mid-term adjustments within the Fleet Admin Team, relative to personal experience and ability.

Responsibilities
  • Driver and vehicle referrals (including obtaining additional information from agent where needed)
  • Request relevant additional information required by underwriters from agents to enable them to consider requests further and vice versa
  • Process all mid-term adjustments to Underwriters
  • Issue cover notes and green cards as necessary
  • Save all correspondence to dedicated folders on GXB and renaming accordingly.
  • Ensure adequate contact is kept with sub-agent and underwriters during any of the processes to finalise matters
  • Promptly convey instructions, premium and terms to underwriters and agents
  • Issue other relevant GXB integrated documents to accompany debit/credit notes
  • Advise agents of acceptance/refusal of cover and provide written confirmation of terms as necessary
  • Check and issue policy documents and certificates to agents
  • Close documentation to underwriters
  • Investigate and resolve accounts queries as requested
  • Obtain updated claims experiences/ claim listings from insurer
  • Process mid-term amendments using Underwriters portal system where necessary
  • Negotiate with underwriters and sub-agents on indemnity issues with the aim of resolving to the client’s satisfaction
  • Process as and when vehicle changes to Underwriters.
  • Close vehicle declarations to insurers and complete declaration template accurately.
  • Add drivers to internal document and close to Underwriters once terms accepted by agent.
  • Maintain own diary and complete team entries where necessary.
  • Follow processes as detailed in the best practise guide
