Job summary

Rim MIX limited, based in Whaley Bridge, is hiring a Trainee Technical Service Engineer to join our growing team. This hands-on role offers practical engineering work, installation, servicing, and repairs across the UK.

You'll work with experienced engineers in both workshop and customer sites, travel UK-wide, and stay away during weeks as required. Training will be provided to develop your skills and build a long-term career in engineering.

Qualifications

• Some basic engineering knowledge is required.
• Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment is preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills and develop engineering knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Flexibility to travel and stay away from home during the week.
• Training will be provided for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Travel to UK customer sites to install, service, maintain and repair machinery.
• Support fault-finding and problem-solving on industrial machinery.
• Work away from home during the week when required.
• Assist with machinery assembly, preparation and testing in workshop.
• Carry out practical engineering tasks using hand tools safely.
• Learn to understand, service and maintain specialist machinery.
• Work as part of a team and develop independence.
