A local educational institution in Guildford is seeking a Trainee Teacher to join their Teacher Training Programme. This role offers aspiring teachers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, professional development, and a clear pathway to obtaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Applicants must possess a relevant degree and academic qualifications in English, Maths, and Science, and demonstrate the right to work in the UK. This is an unpaid training route with financial support options available for tuition and living costs.

Our School Centred Initial Trainee Teacher Programme (SCITT) provides aspiring teachers with the opportunity to train alongside experienced teachers, receiving tailored support and professional development with a clear path to becoming a qualified teacher at the end of the programme.
You will be based 4 days a week at Queen Eleanor’s C of E School during term time and have 1 day a week of centre-based training and professional networking at our training provider hub based in Banstead Surrey or Didcot, Oxfordshire.
This programme is run in partnership with Inspiring Future Teachers who facilitate the programme for The Good Shepherd Trust.
