Job description

Our client is seeking a Trainee Supervisor to join the Relationship Managed Supervision within the Banking division. This is a permanent, full-time position, comprising 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will play a vital role at a significant time in the development of the organisation as it enhances its role in maintaining Jersey's status as a distinguished International Financial Centre.

Job Duties
  • Effectively deliver and actively support the supervision of entities in accordance with the agreed risk-based approach focused on risk mitigation and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in utilising the risk model when identifying escalating levels of risk, demonstrating appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Complete activities in alignment with agreed processes, service level agreements (SLA's), and key performance indicators (KPI's) for quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
  • Maintain a high standard of data entry, record keeping, and filing systems that comply with legal requirements, aiding in the analysis of trends and enhancing business integrity.
  • Build a robust network of internal stakeholders across Supervision and the wider organisation to ensure effective execution of regulatory responsibilities.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvements to internal working practices and procedures.
Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of relevant financial services and products, along with a basic understanding of Jersey and international regulatory standards is advantageous.
